Vanessa
Owner & Creative Director
Vanessa’s connection to Total Look began more than 20 years ago when she worked at the salon while completing her esthetics apprenticeship and becoming a licensed esthetician. Her career later took her into real estate, government relocation services and, for 12 years, the financial industry, where she developed extensive experience in banking, lending and financial planning.
In 2022, Vanessa decided to pursue her lifelong dream of owning a spa. When the opportunity arose to purchase Total Look—the same place where her esthetics career had begun—it felt like everything had come full circle. She took ownership in April 2023.
As Owner & Creative Director, Vanessa is passionate about continually evolving Total Look, from the guest experience and team development to services, products, marketing and the overall vision of the business. She is incredibly proud of the team of women behind Total Look and what they continue to accomplish together.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys gardening, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Manitoba’s lakes and trails by Sea-Doo and snowmobile.
Kelly
Kelly brings more than eight years of reception experience in the wellness industry to her role as Guest Experience Coordinator at Total Look Spa & Boutique.
Organized, detail-oriented and naturally welcoming, Kelly enjoys helping guests feel cared for from the moment they connect with Total Look. She thrives in a team environment and helps keep each day running smoothly while ensuring every guest receives a warm and elevated experience.
Outside of work, Kelly is an avid reader who enjoys reviewing books, baking, spending time with her husband, family and friends, being involved in her community, and relaxing at home with her cat, Harvey.
Danielle
Guest Experience Coordinator & Apprentice Hairstylist
Danielle joined Total Look as part of our reception team and is now officially registered as our newest Hair Apprentice. Passionate about all things hair, she is currently working through Total Look’s training program alongside her mentors as she prepares to welcome guests into her chair.
Friendly, ambitious, hardworking and quick to learn, Danielle is excited to continue developing her skills and building her career at Total Look.
Outside of work, she loves being outdoors, snowmobiling, spending time at the cabin with friends and family, and hanging out with her cat, Ricky.
Cathy
Lead Esthetician & Dermalogica Expert
With more than 40 years of experience in the esthetics industry and nine years as part of the Total Look team, Cathy brings exceptional knowledge and expertise to her role as Lead Esthetician.
A certified Dermalogica Expert, Cathy has a special passion for skincare, facials and advanced treatments. Her personalized, results-focused approach combines professional treatments with education, helping guests better understand their skin and feel confident in how to care for it.
As Lead Esthetician, Cathy also plays an important role in mentoring our esthetics team and maintaining Total Look’s high standards of service and guest care. One of the most rewarding parts of her career is the lasting relationships she has built with her guests over the years.
Outside the spa, Cathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, attending Winnipeg Blue Bombers games and going to concerts.
Maria
Esthetician & Dermalogica Expert
With nine years in the esthetics industry and six years as part of the Total Look team, Maria is an experienced Esthetician with a passion for helping guests achieve healthy, glowing skin.
As a certified Dermalogica Expert, Maria specializes in facials and advanced skincare treatments, including microneedling, professional peels and dermaplaning. She takes a personalized, results-focused approach, helping guests understand their skin and creating treatment and home care recommendations tailored to their individual needs and goals.
Outside the spa, Maria enjoys staying active at the gym, spending time with friends and family, cheering on her boyfriend Derek at his hockey games and relaxing at the cabin during the summer.
Seraphine
Esthetician, Dermalogica Specialist, Brow & Lash Technician
Sera is a Licensed Esthetician, Dermalogica Specialist and Lash & Brow Technician with a passion for creativity, education and helping her guests look and feel their best.
While she enjoys all areas of esthetics, Sera especially loves lash lifts, brow laminations and tinting, along with manicures, nail art and skincare treatments. Friendly and knowledgeable, she enjoys educating her guests and creating a comfortable, personalized experience.
Always eager to learn, Sera is also pursuing a degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Manitoba.
Outside the spa, she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time outdoors, especially hiking and adventuring with her dog, Duke.

Kayla
Apprentice Esthetician
Kayla is a creative and artistic Esthetician who currently offers nail services, massage and body treatments, with a special love for gel nails, nail art and pedicures.
She is continuing through Total Look’s training program and working toward becoming a Dermalogica Specialist, with facial services coming soon. Kayla has also completed her microneedling certification and looks forward to adding advanced skincare services as she continues her training.
Outside of Total Look, Kayla loves spending time at the lake, boating, enjoying campfires and hanging out with her dog, Ruby.

Rylie
Apprentice Esthetician
Rylie is an Esthetician with a passion for all things beauty, skincare and creativity. A Gold medalist at Skills Manitoba and Bronze medalist at Skills Canada, she also placed first in Dermalogica sales in her graduating class.
Rylie currently offers nail services, massage and body treatments while continuing through Total Look’s training program. With a special interest in skincare, she is working toward becoming a Dermalogica Specialist and will soon be offering facial services.
Creative and artistic, Rylie loves continuing to learn and develop her skills while helping guests look and feel their best.
Outside of Total Look, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the movies and relaxing with a good movie at home.

Yuliana
Nail Technician, Lash Technician, & Sugaring Specialist
With over 13 years in the beauty industry and four years at Total Look, Yuliana is an experienced Nail & Lash Technician and Sugaring Specialist known for her precision, creativity and exceptional attention to detail.
A perfectionist at heart, she loves expressing her artistic side through nail art while providing beautiful, detailed results across all of her services. Sweet, friendly and knowledgeable with a quiet demeanour, Yuliana creates a relaxed and comfortable experience for her guests.
Outside of Total Look, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking with her daughter and travelling.

Nail Technician
Chantelle has been part of the Total Look team since beginning her career in the nail industry two years ago. Creative and artistic, she has a special love for gel nails and nail art, using her attention to detail to create personalized sets that reflect each guest’s individual style.
Chantelle loves getting to know her guests and creating a relaxed, enjoyable appointment—often with conversation about the latest TV show, movie or book!
Outside the salon, she enjoys reading, sewing, crafting, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with her dogs, Bleu and Penny.

With over 20 years of experience in the nail industry, Jen brings extensive knowledge, skill and a genuine passion for her craft to the Total Look team.
Warm, easy to talk to and known for her great sense of humour, Jen loves building lasting relationships with her guests and creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience while helping them look and feel their best.
Outside the salon, Jen is a devoted mom of two and a busy hockey and sports mom. She loves spending time with her family, travelling and creating memories together.

Master Stylist & Colourist
Barb is an experienced Master Stylist and mentor who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Total Look. She is passionate about creating beautiful results for her guests while sharing her experience and helping guide our developing stylists and apprentices.
Known for her contagious smile, charismatic personality and great sense of humour, Barb makes every appointment both comfortable and fun.
Outside of the salon, she loves entertaining and cooking for family and friends and spending time with her dog, King Henry.
Paula
Master Stylist
Paula is an experienced Master Stylist and mentor known for her precision cutting, attention to detail and extensive knowledge behind the chair. Friendly, approachable and always ready with a good sense of humour, she creates a comfortable experience while delivering polished, personalized results for her guests.
As a mentor, Paula also enjoys sharing her experience and helping guide our developing stylists and apprentices.
Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with family and friends, cheering on her grandkids at their many sports and activities, and staying active at the gym.

Licensed Hairstylist
Ciara is a licensed Red Seal Hairstylist who has been part of the Total Look team since beginning her career in the beauty industry three years ago. Passionate about colour and cutting, she especially loves blonding services, customized colour and creating haircuts that complement each guest’s individual style.
Ciara values the relationships she builds with her guests and strives to create a comfortable, welcoming space where everyone feels heard, relaxed and confident in their look.
Outside the salon, Ciara is very family-oriented and loves spending time outdoors, fishing and enjoying a good iced coffee.
